Bee-spoke Quilts produces unique handmade patchwork quilts which make beautiful gifts for many occasions.
My passions for colour and sewing are combined in the creation of exquisite quilts. The inspiration for many of my designs comes from the countryside and creatures which surround me in rural Herefordshire. I have a flair for combining fabrics which compliment or contrast each other, which gives the quilts strong visual impact.
I have been sewing for many years, converting from dressmaking to quilting. Having made quilts for family and friends, the business grew out of popular demand for bespoke quilts.
The name of the business came from being a keen bee-keeper at home.
Quilts are available in a range of different sizes and are made from high quality 100% cotton, with wadding inside to give warmth. Personalised memory quilts are also made from outgrown clothing.
My quilts are shipped worldwide and become treasured items. Commissions are welcome, so customers can choose their preferred colour scheme or theme.
I have exhibited at local and national craft events, including Country Living London and BBC Countryfile Blenheim Palace.
I run regular teaching workshops at venues across Herefordshire, including beginner classes.
